Biography: David Bruce Anderson
EDUCATION BACKGROUND David
completed his undergraduate education at the University of California,
Berkeley, where he majored in Political Economy of Industrial Societies,
graduating with high honors in 2004. He
graduated from UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2010, spending his
third year on academic exchange at Harvard Law School. He also studied as a Transatlantic Fellow at
the University of Rome (Tor Vergata) in 2004.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE David joined Marion's Inn in 2011 after a fellowship with the
San Francisco Field Office of the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of
the Solicitor. While in law school, he
interned with the Beijing Arbitration Commission and worked at a large Wall Street
law firm. During his third year at
Harvard Law, he participated extensively in the Harvard Mediation Program,
mediating several dozen eviction actions and commercial cases in the Boston
area Massachusetts state courts. Prior
to law school, he worked in national politics, interning in the Washington D.C.
office of the Honorable Barbara Lee in 2005 and serving as a field director for
a congressional race in 2006.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS In addition to the California bar, David is admitted to practice
before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern and Northern Districts
of California. He is also a member of
the Alameda County Bar Association.
